A brief history:
Jacaranda Hill, a Place of Sanctuary & Peace
8 minutes from the main highway, a winding country road leads through stately trees , up a small valley, to a private family retreat.
Here a family came to raise horses and dogs , fruit trees and flowers in quiet, leafy peace. My parents came to find and build country comfort with luxurious touches.
My mother, raised in British country homes, brought a heritage of culture, art, and antiques, combined with innovative design and a desire for a gourmet kitchen. Stables, horses, and masses of orchids and exotic trees.
My father, brought his wisdom, engineering, and MBA skills to bear in building a home with massive structural strengths. More than 40 years later, his reserve stores include over 200 additional Monier roof tiles to use for the future.
With Honolulu architect, Dennis Kimura, AIA, they built a world apart… Jacaranda Hill, where every day is extraordinary.
To the right is an aerial shot of the outline of the property so that you can see how the buildings are laid out amidst the ample foliage and gardens.
